Chula Vista, CA – The Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center (CVEATC), a U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site, is excited to announce the return of on-site Public Tours, Corporate Events and Olympic Experiences to campus. After a 15 month pause due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the CVEATC is now fully open and ready to host your next event. Here at the CVEATC, we offer a wide variety of groups and events opportunities. From our Tours, Half-Day, Full-Day and Multi-Day Programs, Special Occasions, Hosted Events and Customizable Experiences, the CVEATC can make your ideal event a reality.
Have you ever wanted to see an Olympian train in person? With our wide variety of offerings, that can become a reality. On our Self-Guided Tours, visitors are welcome to take a walk down our Olympic Path free of charge. The mile-long Olympic Path runs through the main campus, providing an overlook to many sport venues. The CVEATC also offers Guided Tours of our facility, VIP Tours & Experiences and Educational Group Tours, each with its own unique experience.
Guided Tours
Learn an overview of the history of the CVEATC, the purpose of the center and general facts about our athletes and sport venues. General public tours are given on a walk-in basis or can be reserved in advance by telephone or email. During this tour, guests can experience an exclusive guided tour of our venues, including a behind the scenes walkthrough of the Strength and Conditioning Center. Also included in this tour package is our “Eat Like an Athlete” experience, enjoy an all-inclusive lunch in our Dinning Hall.
VIP Tours & Experiences
A minimum of ten participants are required for a VIP Tour Experience of the CVEATC. Guests can enjoy one or two Athlete Interaction Experiences: BMX and/or Archery. During the Athlete Interactions, guests receive a one-on-one experience with an Elite Athlete as they are taught the ins and outs of the sport. Also included in this package is a behind the scenes walkthrough of the Strength and Conditioning Center and an “Eat Like an Athlete” experience. VIP Tour packages are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. For the best experience, please book any VIP tour package at least four weeks in advance.
Educational Group Tours
The CVEATC offers educational walking tours for school groups of 10 or more participants (second grade and older). We require at least one adult for every 10 students. Typically, the maximum group size is 40, but with enough notice we may be able to secure an additional tour guide to allow for larger groups. The CVEATC is a Corporate Events destination getaway. Corporations and their employees are immersed in the Olympic Experience while participating in various development opportunities like the lighting of our Olympic Torch or an Olympic/Paralympic Sport Demonstration and Experience. The Olympic Experience is based on friendship, excellence and respect, allowing team members to bond in a way not possible in a regular work environment. The CVEATC offers Half-Day Programs, Full-Day Programs and Multi-Day Programs.
